It was a first when a Representor stormed out of a Hearing at Broxbourne Council shouting ‘Foxtrot Oscar!’ at The Licensing Guys, but at least it adds to the variety of our working day. Here Sanni and Ravi SINGH simply sought to extend their licensable hours until a modest 22:00hrs closing, but attracted 32 Representations against the proposal.
However they also obtained the names, signatures, addresses and telephone numbers of 154 local residents who welcomed the move. To say that the Hearing was heated is something of an understatement, but cooler heads prevailed and the Variation was duly granted.
