Further cause for celebration this time for Dhinesh RAMASAMY who wanted to extend the trading and licensable hours on this pre-existing Premises Licence by three hours – two extra hours before and one hour after the current parameters of this Licence. Following liaison with the Licensing Authority who kindly spoke with the Responsible Authorities in furtherance of our tentative enquiry, it was ascertained that the Responsible Authorities has no objection to this extension of hours in principle.
The current iteration of the Licence which The Licensing Guys previously obtained is working well and is being operated compliantly and in full support of the four Licensing Objectives. Therefore, no additional Conditions were proposed, and indeed the extended hours were granted unopposed at the conclusion of the Consultation period this week.

Today’s success story is owned by Parviz DARWISH who came to The Licensing Guys for both a Premises Licence and a Personal Licence for his new shop – ‘ShopEaze’ at 125 The Westgate in WAKEFIELD. These premises had a chequered history and have been closed for a while, but Parviz has proved that he has no connection with any previous operators and refurbished the interior and kitted it out to an exemplary standard. Here is another example of unforeseen consequences: When the accountant advised to wind up one company and proceed with the other, I’m sure that they did not realise that a Premises Licence held by the former would die unless transferred to the successor within 28 days. Such was the situation with the beautiful Bellini Restaurant in MORETON in MARSH in the Cotswolds. Needless to say, The Licensing Guys dropped everything, applied for a new Licence and kept the restaurant trading under a succession of Temporary Events Notices during the interregnum. Duly a new Licence has been issued and the matter has been regularised. Congratulations, Anastasios!

Coronation Square is the commercial and cultural hub of a substantial new mixed use development site comprising 796 new residential units, a pre-school nursery, indoor sports and leisure centre, a new health hub, community facilities, attractive public square and 21,000sq ft for this new commercial venture. Coronation Square neighbours Leyton Orient football stadium and is close to Leyton’s public parks, shops, pubs, eateries, and other convenient amenities.
This is the third commission that The Licensing Guys have undertaken for Budgens in recent months and we are proud to represent them.
