Originally a traditional London pub, The Basing House on Kingsland Road has undergone a few transformations over the decades but now, following the grant of a variation, this intimate one-roomed club music venue is going full-circle, soon to be refurbished and relaunched as a traditional pub but with the addition of a restaurant and first floor private hire facilities.
This is a great example of how varying the licence can support a business by including extra areas to maximise the use of the building to create additional business streams. We wish Byron continued success in the next chapter of this historic venue’s licensing life!
