Great news to end the week for The Blackmoor Estate in Hampshire!
The Blackmoor Estate has been selling its fruit direct to the public since the 1920s, but in 2022 started to produce cider and apple juice from blends and single varieties of the finest handpicked apples. An immediate success, in 2024 The Licensing Guys assisted with varying the Premises Licence to include an on-site ‘Tap Room’ and online and on-site retail and tour/tasting event activities. Well, it’s safe to say business took off! So much so that only 18 months on, by the Spring of 2026, the event hosting-space needed to be trebled, a larger on-site Tap Room has been developed and a substantial Farm Shop will soon offer a full-time outlet to offer products direct to the public!
We are delighted to have obtained the replacement Premises Licence in minimal time, with no delays, no additional costs and look forward to seeing future developments! This is a great example of how ‘getting the licensing bit right’ can springboard an entire business by supporting growth in a variety of ways.
