How to Apply for a Premises Licence:

This Licence allows a venue to carry out licensable activities such as selling alcohol, providing entertainment, or serving late-night refreshments.

  • Contact your local Licensing Authority (usually your local council) where the premises are located.

  • Submit the application with the required fee.
  • Advertise the application:
  1. Place a notice at the premises for 28 days
  2. Publish a notice in a local newspaper

  • Receive decision:
  1. If no objections, licence is granted.
  2. If objections arise, a hearing may be held.
