Licensing Vineyards
Another growth area in 2022 was the number of vineyards that needed to obtain premises Licences to allow On sales, Off sales and home delivery facilities. One of the few good things to come out of global warming is the ability to grow grapes and produce really great wines in the UK. However, the downside is that these vineyards are set within deeply beautiful countryside where their neighbours obsess about possible detrimental effects on their peace and tranquility. We had two very involved Hearings last year, and successfully won both, despite vehement opposition from local residents and Parish Councils.
